Custom Girls Bedroom

This purple & orange girl's bedroom was a lot of fun to create. We started by custom shaping and upolstering the headboard with a silk brocade finished with gold rope trim. Then came the reversible duvet comforter in dupioni silk and accented with silk from the headboard. We finished the bed with a coordinating box-pleat bedskirt. The curtain panels were made from a sheer fabric embroidered with cute little butterflies (the 2 year-old's pick) and tied up with ribbon. The room was completed with an upholstered makeup chair and fun striped paint treatment.

Reverse Tab-Top Valance

This valance is unique and fun. The ultra-suede fabric keeps it contemporary but casual at the same time and the metal rod ties it in with existing treatments in the large room.

Perfectly Coordinated Wedding

What better for an outdoor summer wedding than a fresh green, black and white color scheme? This bride carried the theme through every last detail (I couldn't resist posting the shoes) and her event was breathtaking. We helped cement the theme with custom green cloths for the pub tables, black and white damask runners for guest tables, a combo of green and damask runners for the head table, and matching green chair ties for all. Thanks to Anna Paige Photography for the pictures.

Formal Bay Window Treatment

We turned this massive bay window in a formal dining room into a feature wall with a combination of treatments. We started with a sculpted upholstered cornice board and mounted it at the ceiling to add height to the windows. We then flanked the windows with long drapery panels crafted from a luxurious silky brocade fabric. Large tassels hold the side panels back and finish the look. The result is very formal and elegant.

Miles of Draperies

It can be a challenge to properly dress a cluster of windows, especially when they extend 20 feet up. This feature wall became stunning with the addition of two-story draperies. The silky striped fabric was topped with a dressy beaded trim, anchored with tassel tie-backs, and puddled on the floor.

Girls Dream Bedroom

As a birthday surprise, we remodeled this 10 year old girl's bedroom with a custom bedding set. A ruffled valance crowned the bed which was flanked by satin panels that puddled on the floor. We duplicated the treatment on the adjacent window. The bed was tied into the mix with a matching bedskirt.

17 Feet of Drama

Two story living rooms are common, but there is nothing common about the "wow" factor we added to this room with 17 foot long drapes. The panels are made from burgandy silk with a sheer overlay. They puddle on the floor and are draped with decorative scarves at the top. The finishing touch is the braided rope & tassle that tie the middle. We mounted them on individual 2 foot dark-stained rods with oversized finials.

A Pretty Crib Set

This custom crib set is decidedly unique and elegant. The skirt is crafted from lavendar broqued satin and finished with a clear teardrop beaded trim. To mix things up and add interest we made a super-thick bumper from a super-soft white faux fur and added sheer purple ribbon to hold it in place. We completed the suite with emrodered sheer draperies trimmed with the matching ribbon & teardrop beads, and also designed a custom lampshade to match.

Welcome to the Jungle!

This custom made quilt provided the perfect jumping-off point for a little boy's jungle themed bedroom. The machine appliqued quilt featured snakes & lizards in bright colors. It was finished off with a triple border that included large stars in each corner.
